Working For 'Jai Gangaajal' Made 'Quantico' Easier: Priyanka Chopra

    Actress Priyanka Chopra says that her preparation for the cop drama, "Jai Gangaajal" helped her to portray her character of an FBI agent in her international series, "Quantico".
     
    "Due to the kind of skill and work that was required for 'Jai Gangaajal', I was ready for my role in 'Quantico'. In fact, 'Quantico' became easier because I was doing the film," said Priyanka at the film's trailer launch.
     
    While Priyanka plays a police officer Aabha Mathur in 'Jai Gangaajal' wielding guns and smashing people with 'lathis', she plays a Federal Bureau of Investigation officer Alex Parrish in the international series.
     
    Film director, Prakash Jha who also plays a police officer in "Jai Gangaajal", says: "We trained Aabha Mathur in Bhopal and see how she is showcasing her talent in 'Quantico'."
     
     
    Priyanka stayed in places such as Lucknow and Bareily in Uttar Pradesh, during her growing up years. She says, "I grew up in UP, so this role was easy for me."
     
    "Jai Gangaajal" was "the quickest film in her career", she said, adding she was juggling two big budget projects, period drama "Bajirao Mastani" and "Quantico" at the same time. 
     
    Jha said: "As Priyanka was too busy in her schedule with 'Bajirao' and 'Quantico', we had to do some quick work in her given schedule from the time she managed between the two."
     
    "Jai Gangaajal" is releasing on March 4 next year and has music composed by Salim-Sulaiman.
