Darpan News Desk IANS, 11 Jul, 2016 01:46 PM
Actor Sidharth Malhotra, who loves adventure, says if he wasn't an actor, he would have loved to be a rafting instructor as it has a lot of "excitement and fear".

Sidharth recently treated his fans to a live Facebook chat, where he shared that he would have been a rafting instructor if his luck in Bollywood had not worked.

"I would love to be a river rafting instructor. It is so adventurous, full of thrill, excitement and fear," said Sidharth, who went skydiving and scuba diving in New Zealand last year as part of his appointment as Indian ambassador of Tourism New Zealand.

The 31-year-old actor also shared his wish list of directors with whom he would love to work with.

"I would love to work with Imtiaz Ali, Rajkumar Hirani and Zoya Akhtar," he said.

Talking about his all-time favourite movies, the "Ek Villain" star shared that he grew up watching "Chup Ke Chup Ke" (Rishikesh Mukherjee film), "Sholay" and "Hum".

Sidharth is also deeply fond of cartoons.

"I loved watching Mowgli, Astrix and Popeye when I was a kid. I also enjoy watching Simpsons a lot," he said.

On the work front, the actor will next be seen sharing screen space with Katrina Kaif in director Nitya Mehra's upcoming film "Baar Baar Dekho".
