Would Love To Be Varun Dhawan's Voice: Armaan Malik

Darpan News Desk IANS, 29 Mar, 2016 12:38 PM
Known for crooning a string of hits like "Main hoon hero tera" and "Wajah tum ho", singer Armaan Malik says he would like to lend his voice for actor Varun Dhawan for a song.

"I would love to be Varun Dhawan's voice. I really like Varun and I want to be his voice," Malik told IANS.

On the work front, Malik has just recorded a new song "Bol do na zara" from the film "Azhar," a biopic on former Indian cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin, whose character will be essayed by actor Emraan Hashmi.

The film will narrate the highs and lows of Azharuddin's life as the captain of the Indian cricket team for most of the 1990s and being tainted by a match-fixing scandal in 2000, and getting banned for life.

Directed by Tony D'Souza, "Azhar", which is jointly produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and MSM Motion Picture, also stars Lara Dutta, Gautam Gulati, Prachi Desai and Huma Qureshi in pivotal roles.

The film is slated to release on May 13.
