Wouldn't Like To Repeat Roles: Adah Sharma

IANS, 26 Jan, 2017 12:33 PM
  • Wouldn't Like To Repeat Roles: Adah Sharma
Actress Adah Sharma, who has worked in the southern and Hindi cinema, says she enjoys maintaining a variety in the characters she portrays on screen.

"I wouldn't like to repeat the roles I've done. I try to do different roles and then I enjoy working anywhere," Adah told IANS.

The 27-year-old says she is a Tamil but was born and brought up in Mumbai.

"I can speak Hindi, English and Tamil. So somewhere I have lost that language barrier. I can do any role in both industries. I want to look and act best, regardless of which language," Adah added.

She will next be seen in "Commando 2", which features Vidyut Jammwal in a lead role.

"I've never had so much fun that I had in 'Commando 2'. This role is on a lighter note and has great comedy. I've never done a role like this.

"I didn't have to match up with Vidyut in the film as we worked as a team and not against each other. When I read the script, I thought this is something I've never done before.

"In the south, I've done highly emotional roles many times. But this is the first time I am playing a flamboyant character in 'Commando 2'," said Adah.

The actress also said "Commando 2" offers more than just action.

Directed by Deven Bhojani and produced by Vipul Shah, the movie also features Freddy Daruwala, Thakur Anoop Singh, Shefali Shah, Satish Kaushik, Esha Gupta as Maria and Adil Hussain in pivotal roles.

The film is scheduled to release on March 3.
