Yo Yo Honey Singh On Fear Of Being Forgotten In Bollywood: I Live In People's Hearts

Darpan News Desk IANS, 11 Oct, 2019 09:15 PM

“Once a man falls sick, it’s not in his decision to sit at home or not work”, said singer and rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh about his 18-months long battle with alcohol and bipolar disorder.

In a recent interview, Honey Singh talked about his struggles, and how he made a strong comeback. Honey revealed how he was better in 2016; post two years of his illness, but the singer fell sick again in 2017.

After his rough phase, the singer came back with a hit-number ‘Dil Chori Sada’ from the movie, ‘Sonu Ke TiTu Ki Sweety’ in 2018, which even won an award.

For almost a decade, his fans grooved to his music, but the singer suddenly disappeared. It was later revealed that he was dealing with bipolar and alcoholism, which pushed him to anonymity.

In the time being, other competitions started taking over. However, Honey does not fear being sidelined. He shared: “Out of sight nahi, hum into the heart hain. Wahan se surgery karke hi nikaal paoge mujhe! (laughs) Main logon ke dil se nahi nikal sakta. You can say that for a girlfriend, but not Yo Yo Honey Singh,”according to News 18.
