Youngsters Today Prefer Casual Relationships: Pravesh Rana

Darpan News Desk IANS, 10 May, 2015 01:48 PM
  • Youngsters Today Prefer Casual Relationships: Pravesh Rana
Pravesh Rana, the host of reality show "Emotional Atyachaar", says there's a lack of seriousness in relationships among the modern-day generation.

The 31-year-old, who is currently hosting the fifth season of the Bindass show, feels young men desire 'girlfriends' for "formality".

"Seriousness amongst relationships in today's generation exists, but it's not working too frequently. There are more casual relationships rather than serious ones," Pravesh told IANS.

"Those who get ditched by their partner, they are the ones who take love more seriously. Youngsters make girlfriends and boyfriends for formality due to the social pressure of friends... But such kind of relationships break too early as they don't have any base," he added.

Pravesh, a model and former Mr. India who came into the limelight with "Bigg Boss 3" in 2009, has since been hosting "Emotional Atyachaar".

Isn't he bored of the show?

"Every time when we return with a new season, we try and change the format. This time the show has the tagline 'Ab Tehkikat Yaaron Ke Sath'. I don't get bored as far as doing a new format is concerned.

"I've been approached for many reality shows since last few years, but my dates get clashed with them every time," he added.

Pravesh made his big screen debut with the 2013 film "Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns" and is now looking forward to his next yet untitled project where he will be seen in the lead role.
