Bad Reviews Don't Offend Anne Hathaway

Darpan News Desk IANS, 22 Oct, 2016 03:30 PM
  • Bad Reviews Don't Offend Anne Hathaway
Actress Anne Hathaway says she doesn't mind if a film she features in gets a bad review because she knows how much work it takes to make a movie.

"I don't take it personally when bad movies get made. It takes so much work to make anything. "I don't know where it's going to lead to, and I don't know if this movie ('Colossal') is going to have an impact," Hathaway told the the guardian.com.

"I'd like to think it might empower people to take risks, but I don't think we need to diminish one in order to celebrate the other," she added.

The actress also shared that she is "aware of the reactions that various movies have had."

"I just think you gotta remember that no one sets out to make a bad movie and when people do, they're aware of it," said the 33-year-old actress.

Hathaway plays a drunken drifter in "Colossal" and she enjoys taking on roles which can break the stigma surrounding the certain type of people she portrays.
