Singer Beyonce Knowles bagged numerous trophies at MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) 2014 held here Sunday night.
 
With eight nominations, she won in categories like Best Collaboration, Best Video with a Social Message and Best Cinematography, reports mtv.com.
 
She was also one of the performers and was accompanied by rapper-husband Jay Z to the event. The couple, who are rumoured to part ways, were also seen with their two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy at the awards ceremony.
 
The Video of the Year went to Miley Cyrus for “Wrecking ball”.
 
Katy Perry and Ed Sheeran won awards for Best Female Video and Best Male Video respectively.
