Brad Pitt Skipped Oscars To Work On Sculpture

Darpan News Desk, 04 Mar, 2017 02:27 PM
  • Brad Pitt Skipped Oscars To Work On Sculpture
"Moonlight" actor-producer Brad Pitt skipped the Oscars this year to work on a secret sculpture.

The star's Plan B Entertainment production company produced "Moonlight", which won the Best Picture honour.

"Pitt has been otherwise engaged, holed up creating a sculpture at British artist Thomas Houseago's Frogtown studio," hollywoodreporter.com quoted a source as saying.

It's unclear what form Pitt's sculpture was taking, but the source added that Pitt, who had been building a substantial art collection with former wife Angelina Jolie, had been at it for nearly 10 days.

Apart from sculptures aside, Pitt has plenty on his schedule. As an actor, he's wrapped filming on "War Marchine" for director David Michod, and he's expected to reprise his role in "World War Z 2".
