Celine Dion Has Deep Admiration For Sia

Darpan News Desk IANS, 13 Aug, 2016 02:48 PM
Singer Celine Dion says she has deep admiration for "Chandelier" hitmaker Sia's clear vision for her songs.

Dion believes Sia has managed to carve out her own path, on her own terms and in her own time, reports billboard.com.

"I'm mesmerised by her confidence, and I constantly look forward to what she'll do next. She's the true definition of an artist, one I so deeply admire. I'm one of her biggest fans, and it has been such a joy and honour to get to know her," she added.

The 48-year-old singer, who lost her husband René Angélil to throat cancer earlier this year, was overjoyed that Sia penned a track for her and says her son was impressed too.

"Sia is simply incredible, like no one I've ever met. My son René-Charles -- he's much cooler than I am and teaches me what music I should listen to-- couldn't believe that Sia wrote a song for me. He's a huge fan, too," the "My heart will go on" crooner said.
