Chris Pratt Saw Imaginary Dinosaurs In Childhood

  • Chris Pratt Saw Imaginary Dinosaurs In Childhood
Actor Chris Pratt, who anxiously awaits the release of his upcoming film “Jurassic World”, says after watching filmmaker Steven Spielberg’s 1993 film “Jurassic Park” twice over a weekend as an “impressionable” 14-year-old, he spent the next six months of his life running away from imaginary dinosaurs.

“I was 14 and was right at that age where I was impressionable. It blew my mind. The science and imagination came together in this way that was full of suspense, beautiful imagery and great storytelling,” Pratt, who plays the role of Owen Grady in the fourth instalment of the popular “Jurassic Park” franchise, said in a statement.

“It was like cinema was mania. I saw it twice that weekend. After that, I spent the next six months of my life with imaginary dinosaurs,” he added.

Directed by Colin Trevorrow, “Jurassic World”, which will release in India on Thursday, also stars Bollywood star Irrfan Khan, along with Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D'Onofrio, Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson, Omar Sy and B.D. Wong.

The story of the film unfolds 22 years after the events of "Jurassic Park", in a fully functional resort on Isla Nublar that sees more than 20,000 visitors a day. The new park includes a biological preserve, a safari, a zoo, and a theme park type setting.
