Comment On Blue-collar Americans Was Stupid, Says Chris Pratt

  • Comment On Blue-collar Americans Was Stupid, Says Chris Pratt
Actor Chris Pratt, who is awaiting the release of his film "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2", says his comment that blue-collar Americans are not represented much in films was "stupid".

During one of his interviews in the past, Pratt said that he rarely sees his own upbringing represented in movies.

However, on Friday the actor tweeted that it was stupid thing to say after his fans on Twitter pointed out a list of films on the blue-collar workers, reports people.com

"That was actually a pretty stupid thing to say. I'll own that. There's a ton of movies about blue collar America," Pratt posted.

In an interview to a magazine, the actor had said: "I don't see personal stories that necessarily resonate with me, because they're not my stories. I think there's room for me to tell mine, and probably an audience that would be hungry for them. The voice of the average, blue-collar American isn't necessarily represented in Hollywood."

"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" is releasing in India on May 5.
