Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, who is making her Hollywood debut with “xXx: The Return of Xander Cage”, has gifted a traditional Indian outfit to the film's director D.J. Caruso.
Caruso took to Twitter on Friday to share a photograph of an embroidered blue kurta and pyjama with his fans.
He captioned it: “Deepika Padukone wow what a wrap gift! I am styling. Grateful. Thank you for bringing Serena to life. 'xXx' Last day.”
In the film, Deepika will be seen as Serena.
“xXx: The Return of Xander Cage”, a sequel to the 2002 film “xXx” and 2005 film “xXx: State of the Union”, also stars Vin Diesel, Samuel L. Jackson, Donnie Yen and Tony Jaa.
In another tweet, Caruso shared a photograph in which Deepika can be seen posing for images with her fans.

“Deepika Padukone saying goodbye to fans in Toronto. Two shots left for her. 'xXx',” he captioned it.
The film is slated to release on January 20, 2017.
