Drew Barrymore, Will Kopelman To Remain 'Close' Post-split

Darpan News Desk IANS, 11 Apr, 2016 11:36 AM
Actress Drew Barrymore and her husband of four years, Will Kopelman, will reportedly stay "close" even after their split.

The "Miss You Already" and Kopelman announced their separation last week, but they plan to stay friends as they are said to still have a lot of mutual respect for each other, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

A source told the New York Post's Page Six column: "Will became close with all of her friends, and she his. They have never at any point (in their marriage) lived separate lives... This is just a case of two people mutually falling out of love, and while opposites may attract, it's often unsustainable."

The source also said that Kopelman supported Barrymore by travelling with her to movie sets and took care of their children on those locations.

"He was also always present as a fixture in support of her beauty and wine businesses. His father (former Chanel president Arie L. Kopelman), has even been an active sounding board for her make-up line," said the source.

Meanwhile, the 41-year-old actress is keen to keep things "cordial" for the sake of their two daughters, Olive, three and Frankie, 23 months.

An insider shared previously: "(Drew) really wanted to give her daughters a normal family life, and she will do everything to make sure they (have one). They're on good terms and are trying to keep everything cordial for the sake of the girls.
