Ed Sheeran May Take Year Off

    Singer Ed Sheeran may take year off from the pop music treadmill and "live for a bit".
     
    Chatting at this week’s 60th Ivor Novello Awards here, which saw Sheeran scoop Songwriter of the Year, 24-year-old revealed his plans to take some time away from showbiz, reports mirror.co.uk.
     
    He said: "I’d like to live for a bit! I feel like I live in a bubble where normal happens outside, and everything ‘Hollywood’ happens inside.
     
    “I’d like to get on the outside for at least a year.”
     
    But he might have to stick at it for a bit longer. He’s still got to finish a string of US and Canadian dates before his three huge Wembley gigs in July.
     
    He then goes back to America and finishes with six gigs in Australia and New Zealand later this year.
