  • Hugh Jackman wants to play James Bond
Actor Hugh Jackman says he's interested in playing the iconic British spy James Bond.

While the actor says he hasn't been approached lately about the role, he told eonline.com that he's open to it now.

"I'd certainly give it a thought," Jackman said. "I don't think there's an actor on the planet who wouldn't at least say, 'Oh, let me have a think about that.'"

Jackman has said in the past that he was once offered the role, but he decided against it because he was getting ready to film "X-Men 2".
