I Was Raised To Make A Difference: Kanye West

  • I Was Raised To Make A Difference: Kanye West
Rapper Kanye West says that he was raised to do something bigger in life, to "make a difference".

During Making an appearance on the "The Ellen DeGeneres" show, the "Gold digger" rapper expressed disappointment at how the media portrays him.

“I care about people. My dad lived in a homeless shelter less than 5 years ago. To find out he’s a Psychology major, my mom is the first black female chair in the English Department of Chicago state University. I was raised to do something, to make a difference," West said.

When asked about his tweet on Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, who had agreed to help him in his social cause, West said: “I have ideas that can make the human race existence within our 100 years, better. Period.”

He got upset because he isn’t able to execute those ideas because of lack of resources.

The episode featuring West on "The Ellen DeGeneres" show will air in India on Romedy NOW on Friday.
