Johnny Depp skips filming due to illness

Darpan News Desk IANS, 16 Oct, 2014 12:14 PM
Actor Johnny Depp missed filming reshoots for his new movie “Mortdecai” after falling sick.

The “Pirates of the Caribbean” star was due to shoot more scenes for the action comedy at Pinewood Studios in England Monday, but the production was cut short when the lead actor cancelled because of ill health, reports mirror.co.uk.

"The reshoot is only meant to last seven days, so missing a whole day is a big deal. Johnny must've been really under the weather (sic) not to arrive at all. Everyone will have to work extra hard now to get it done,” said a source.

"He was sick and (the) production was aware that he would not be working,” the source added.

Depp stars as an art dealer searching for a stolen painting in “Mortdecai”, which is scheduled for release in January 2015.
