Justin Bieber Deletes His Instagram Account

Darpan News Desk IANS, 16 Aug, 2016 01:01 PM
Singer Justin Bieber is said to have deactivated his Instagram account amid a social media feud with his former girlfriend Selena Gomez.

His fans can no longer access his page since late Monday, reports aceshowbiz.com.

The 22-year-old pop star initially switched his account to private before changing his mind and making his page public again. He, however, made a dramatic move by deleting it entirely, not long after sharing a photograph to introduce his new pet, a fluffy white puppy called Todd.

Bieber was slammed by fans immediately after he set his account private.

"In the moment you went private you lost many fans," wrote one user. Another user added: "And now we are leaving you."

He left his fans even more puzzled when he decided to delete his Instagram account.

"Why did he have to be so dramatic and delete his Instagram. You could've just disabled the comments Justin Bieber," one person wrote on Twitter.

Bieber deactivated his Instagram account amid a feud with Gomez which started as she seemingly threw shade at the Canadian singer for threatening to make his Instagram private.

"If you can't handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend," she allegedly wrote in the deleted post. "It should be special between you two only. Don't be mad at your fans. They love you."

Bieber then accused Gomez of using him for attention, and the former Disney star hit back by accusing him of cheating on her "multiple times" when they were still dating. He responded by hinting that Gomez was also cheating on him with singer Zayn Malik.
