Singer Katy Perry will most likely write a song on her breakup with musician John Mayer.
"There's no bad blood. But I'm sure there will be inspired songs," eonline.com quoted Perry as saying.
The 29-year-old will feature in the July edition of Cosmopolitan magazine and has been named first-ever global cover star in the magazine.
Mayer, 36, was asked about what he feels about being heard on his ex's song and if he wants the song to be successful.
"I have super strength for gang-ups. I'm fine. That's what you're supposed to do, man. You're supposed to write songs. You're just not supposed to tell everybody you're doing it. I actually want everybody's song to go number one. I purposely stopped writing hits to give other people a chance to have number one songs. I just stand to the side," said Mayer.
