Kim Kardashian Learned To Embrace Her Curves

Darpan News Desk IANS, 04 Oct, 2015 01:51 PM
Reality TV star Kim Kardashian finds it difficult knowing some runway designs won't suit her body shape but says she has learned to embrace her curves.

"My body type is not your typical model body type. It's exciting that I feel that designers are seeing different body shapes and styles and willing to take that risk," Kim told CNN Style, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

"So many things look amazing on my sister Kendall, we have completely different bodies and you know something could look amazing on the runway and then just not fit my personal body type. So I think that's been a lesson that I've had to learn - sometimes the hard way - that sometimes things do not always work out," she added.

And the 34-year-old TV personality credits her husband Kanye for "changing everything" about the way she looked at fashion.

"Back in the day, I thought I had the best style. I look back at outfits and I'm mortified. I remember one day, Kanye brought me Carine Roitfeld's book and was like, 'You should be studying this book, this is the fashion bible.' I was like, 'Who's Carine?' I knew nothing, and he said, 'Watch, one day she's going to style you.'"
