Knightley can't imagine 'Pirates of the Caribbean' return

Darpan News Desk IANS, 06 Nov, 2014 12:06 PM
  • Knightley can't imagine 'Pirates of the Caribbean' return
Actress Keira Knightley, who portrayed the role of Elizabeth Swan in first three films of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise, doesn’t see herself reprising the role.

The 29-year-old actress, who teamed up with Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom for the films, feels it was a great moment in her life, but she would not do it again, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Asked in an interview, whether she wishes to return to the role of Elizabeth, she said: "No, I don't think so.

"It was an amazing point in my life, but it was a good five-year chunk. It was incredible, but I can't really imagine going back to it".

However, Knightley's role in the franchise helped her to turn into an A-listed star.

Since then, she has gone on to mix and match her roles, moving from period drama, to indie projects to more blockbuster roles.
