Darpan News Desk IANS, 12 Jul, 2018 01:19 PM
Television personality, model and entrepreneur Kylie Jenner is on the cover of Forbes' "Richest Self-Made Women" issue.

Ever since Jenner founded Kylie Cosmetics in February 2016, her company has earned a revenue of $630 million. The 20-year-old has managed to build a $900 million fortune, reports eonline.com

This is the first time Jenner has been included in the Forbes' list since it was first published in 2014.

"The most successful women entrepreneurs are increasingly taking advantage of technology, including social media, to help them launch and grow businesses," said Luisa Kroll, assistant managing editor of Forbes.

In an interview with Forbes, Jenner said that she has always been allured by cosmetics, even though she struggled to find something to do on her own.

"Ever since I was in sixth grade, I would wear purple eyeshadow. I turned to make-up to help me feel more confident," she said.

Jenner also makes money from endorsements and is the youngest woman to be featured in the issue. She is also said to be the seventh most followed celebrity on Instagram.
