"Summertime Sadness" hitmaker Lana Del Ray says she's a selfish person as she doesn't care what her fans and critics think of her music.
"I'm very selfish. I make everything for me, kind of. I mean, every little thing, down to the guitar and the drums. It's just for me. I don't want them to hear it and think about it. It's none of their business," Ray said in an interview to Rolling Stone magazine, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
Ray avoided talking about her controversial comments about her wish to die young.
"I find that most people I meet figure I kind of want to kill myself anyway. So, it comes up every time," said the singer, who spoke about her strange wish to die young, in a recent interview to a magazine.
