Singer Katie Price is planning to “test” her friends this Christmas because she is worried about their “loyalty”.
The 36-year-old, who was left devastated after learning that her friends Jane Pountney and Chrissy Thomas cheated on her with her husband Kieran Hayler, will be taking a “step back” this year because she is worried that some of her friends are taking advantage of her generosity, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
“I've really stepped back and valued things in a different way. For Christmas it will be a test, because I'm not going to go all out I'm gonna spend more on a couple of quality presents, wrap them up nice and give it that way and see what the reaction is,” BANG Showbiz quoted Price as saying.
"The trouble with Christmas is, because people think you earn money, you'll buy them massive and loads of presents. I've had a wake-up call this year and I'm thinking, you know what, people expect so much from me all of the time.
“If I was stripped back, as in I didn't have the money, didn't have the fame, would I really have some of the friends I have,” she wondered.
