Miley Cyrus Criticises Dolce & Gabbana Over Social Media

  • Miley Cyrus Criticises Dolce & Gabbana Over Social Media
Singer Miley Cyrus has criticised Dolce & Gabbana after the fashion brand decided to dress First Lady Melania Trump.

Cyrus took to Instagram on Sunday to congratulate her brother Braison for making his runway debut in the brands Saturday fashion show.

Although the post began with Cyrus gushing about her brother, it ended on a political note as she said that she "strongly disagrees" with the designers of the brand, reports dailymail.co.uk.

Congrats @braisonccyrus on walking in your 1st runway show.... It's never been my little brothers dream to be a model as HE is one of the most talented musicians my ears have ever been given the gift of hearing.... BUT it is a Cyrus family trait to try everything once (within reason HA) and to embrace opportunities that encourage you to step out of your comfort zone! We believe in trying something new everyday! I love you Prince Suga Bear and seriously congratulations on your experience! I am so proud of you always.... From Nashville to Italy! 👑❤️👑❤️👑❤️ PS D&G, I STRONGLY disagree with your politics.... but I do support your company's effort to celebrate young artists & give them the platform to shine their light for all to see!

Cyrus didn't specify what she was referring to, but Dolce & Gabbana have made waves with their outward support of Melania Trump -- including a $245 "Boycott" t-shirt after backlash for dressing the First Lady.

NEW YORK — With a headline of "Yep, I'm Gay" on the cover of Time magazine and the same declaration on her sitcom, Ellen DeGeneres made history 20 years ago as the first prime-time lead on network TV to come out, capturing the hearts of supporters gay and straight amid a swirl of hate mail, death threats and, ultimately, dark times on and off the screen.
