Singer Miley Cyrus' fans have sent death threats to her boyfriend Patrick Schwarzenegger after photographs emerged of him getting cosy with another woman.
The “Wrecking Ball” hitmaker's most devoted followers on Twitter appear to have taken the recent photographs rather badly, sending vitriolic messages and threats over the micro-blogging site, reports dailymail.co.uk.
As per reports, some of the messages from her fans -- collectively known as the Smilers -- bordered on the dangerous and extreme.
“You better run for your life when you come to LA (Los Angeles),” one angered fan wrote.
Another added: “I hope your pizza place burns down,” while a separate troll posed the question: “Who's gonna kill Patrick for us?”
Another sought humour in the circumstance, joking that they would “kill Patrick” if he went astray on his girlfriend of five months.
The news of the multiple death threats come just after it was revealed that 22-year-old Cyrus actually knows the girl with whom her boyfriend was getting cosy while in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico during the weekend.
