Socialite Paris Hilton is reportedly house hunting for a luxury penthouse apartment here because she wants to be closer to her siblings - Barron and Nicky.
Los Angeles based Hilton was shown round a number of properties just a few hours after arriving into the city Sep 12, reports nypost.com.
"Paris (is) looking at penthouse apartments downtown so she can be closer to her sister Nicky, who lives in New York, and her brother Barron, who also lives here," said a source.
The 33-year-old hopes being in New York will enable her to do more in helping her younger sister plan her wedding to James Rothschild.
"Nicky is getting married soon, and so Paris really wants to be able to help her sister and be involved in the wedding plans. She also loves New York, having grown up in the city," added the source.
