Ryan Reynolds spoofs Kanye West

Darpan News Desk IANS, 21 Feb, 2016 01:10 PM
Actor Ryan Reynolds, in character as Deadpool, spoofed rapper Kanye West’s "Saturday Night Live" backstage rant in a new video.

Reynolds shared the video on Facebook on Friday.

In the video, Reynolds, 39, indirectly addresses the online petition that fans started to get Deadpool to host "Saturday Night Live", reports usmagazine.com.

The Change.org petition already has almost 70,000 signatures.

“Listen up, Lorne Michaels,” Deadpool says in the video, addressing the show’s creator.

“SNL took my f--king Life of Pablo album without asking. Now I’m bummed. That and Rip Taylor. Fake a**!”

The rant spoofs the audio of West’s similar backstage tirade, which leaked online on Wednesday. During his tantrum, the 38-year-old rapper, who just released his album "The Life of Pablo", says: “Look at that s--t. They took my f--kin’ stage off SNL without asking me. Now I’m bummed. That and Taylor Swift. Fake a**!”

“I’ve got the biggest opening rated-R movie of all time,” the superhero continues.

“Are they f--king crazy? I’m 50 percent more influential than MC Hammer, Apostle Judas Iscariot, the KIA Sorento. Ten percent more influential than Barbara Bush, the Muppets, Bob Newhart. Sixty percent more influential than the iPhone 5, shredded cheese and Dr. Ruth. Seven percent less influential than the Urban Dictionary!”
