Singer-actor Selena Gomez will be honoured as a Kids Global Icon at an Italian film festival to be held in Ischia.
Organisers of the Ischia Global Film & Music Fest have chosen the singer as a recipient of the prize, which celebrates young artists in Hollywood, reports contactmusic.com.
Festival boss Pascal Vicedomini praised Gomez as a "stylistic model and a true artist".
Jessica Chastain, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Sylvester Stallone have previously been announced as winners of acting awards at the festival, starting July 12.
