  • Shakira confirms second pregnancy
Singer Shakira has put rest to speculations about her second pregnancy, confirming that she's expecting her baby number two with her partner and soccer player Gerard Pique.

The 37-year-old singer made the revelation to the Spanish edition of Cosmopolitan magazine, reports eonline.com.

"Pues sí, la verdad es que sí, estoy embarazada," she said in her native tongue.

It translates to "Yes, the truth is that yes, I am pregnant."

The revelation comes after weeks of pregnancy speculation.

In April, Shakira said she was too busy with her work commitments to have another baby.

She and Pique, 27, had first welcomed a son named Milan in January 2013.
