TV Gave Halle Berry A Tough Time

Darpan News Desk IANS, 21 Jun, 2015 02:22 PM
  • TV Gave Halle Berry A Tough Time
Actress Halle Berry had no idea how hard it was to work in the TV industry until she shot the first series of “Extant”.

The Oscar winner admits she was surprised by how much harder filming a TV show is compared to films and struggled to find time to hang out with husband Olivier Martinez, their son Maceo, 20 months, and her daughter Nahla, seven, who she has with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.

"I thought, I'm going to go into TV, be at home with my family. (But) I didn't see my family, and I never worked harder in my life,” femalefirst.co.uk quoted Berry as saying.

The 48-year-old was determined to continue breast-feeding her little boy despite spending long days on set.

"I was doing drive-by nursings every two hours. I was in over my head - the amount of scenes we shoot in a day (sic),” she said.
