Zayn Malik accuses One Direction of lying

  • Zayn Malik accuses One Direction of lying
Singer Zayn Malik says his former One Direction bandmates lied about still being friends with him.

The 23-year-old singer, who left the English-Irish pop boy band in March last year, claims that he tried reaching out to the other bandmates, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan, but they rejected him, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

"The truth is I haven't spoken to any of the boys at all really, I spoke to Liam a bit and that's just the way it is. I did try to reach out to a couple of people and they didn't get back to me, but then publicly, when they were asked questions about it, said that they'd spoken to me and that we were friends,” L'Uomo Vogue magazine quoted Malik as saying.

"But that's not the case, I tried to reach out and be their friend but they haven't even replied to any of my calls or texts,” he added.

However, the singer insisted there is no animosity between him and the band and he simply left because they weren't making the type of music he wanted to create.
