  • Zayn Malik's Mother Receives Social Media Backlash
Former One Direction singer Zayn Malik's mother Trisha Malik got embroiled in a social media spat after liking negative comments about her son's former fiancee Perrie Edwards.

Trisha uploaded a photograph on Instagram on Friday of a bouquet of flowers that had been sent to her by Malik and his new girlfriend Gigi Hadid.

"From my ‘sonshine' and Gigi. Love them," she captioned the image.

Later on, Edwards's fans started accusing Trisha by calling her "b***h".

Trisha then mentioned that she doesn't have anything against Edwards.

Malik and Edwards met each other on "The X Factor", but broke off their engagement in 2015 after a four-year relationship.
