A Taste of Reach Fundraiser

Tasty Indian Bistro 8295 120 Street03 Dec '19 @ 6:00 PM - 9:30 PM

Last year’s tremendously successful ‘Taste of Reach’ event raised almost $90,000 for REACH Child and Youth Development Society. Dilawri Group returns as presenting sponsor of this celebratory evening held Dec.03, 2019 at Tasty Indian Bistro North Delta, featuring gourmet Indian cuisine paired with beer and wine tastings from The Drinks List, Charton & Hobbs and LaStella. A South Asian family who has received REACH services will share their story to inform guests about help available for children with special needs. An integral part of ‘A Taste of Reach’ is spreading awareness to families about support for developmental disabilities.

Grey Cup Champion Marco Iannuzzi will emcee ‘A Taste of Reach 2019’ and Ian Paton, MLA Delta South will assist with the live auction with excellent lots like two tickets to the Canucks vs. Arizona Coyotes coupled with dinner and a stay at Century Plaza Hotel. Proceeds from this fundraising evening benefit REACH Foundation and children with developmental disabilities. $125 tickets are available at https://tasteofreach2019.eventbrite.ca

“This event is always such a beautiful blend of culture and humanitarianism which brings awareness to how highly our community members value the importance of supporting every child along their unique developmental pathway.” Says REACH Development Manager Kristin Bibbs. “ We are very excited to be hosting our 3rd annual event at the Tasty Bistro location where this special event originated and are so grateful for the sponsors, donors and guests who make it possible!”

Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), or Lou Gehrig’s Disease, is a rapidly progressive, neuromuscular disease. It attacks the motor neurons that transmit electrical impulses from the brain to the voluntary muscles in the body. When they fail to receive messages, the muscles lose strength, atrophy and die.
