Youth Guiding Youth Society was formed by a group of High school students who observed a need and had a desire to further support their community. The group is led by high school students and supported by mentors and parents. The group started with only 5 volunteers, but now each year organization grows as more people hear about it and join, whether it is through supporting the cause, attending annual gala or volunteering to raise funds.
Jeevan Badwal from Whitecaps FC is organizing the fundraiser for Friday, April 28th, 2023. This will be the fundraiser's 12th year of support for the BC Children's Hospital Foundation.
Proceeds from ticket sales, as well as donations from local businesses and individuals, will be donated to BC Children’s Hospital. This fund supports the most critical needs of BC Children’s Hospital, including new equipment and research initiatives.
The group have raised impressive more than $400,000 since they started this initiative over a span of 12 years ago. Tickets are $50 per person.
