Pink Pearl Chinese Restaurant27 Nov '17 @ 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Fabulist Theatre Dim Sum Diaries by Mark-Leiren-Young
Fabulist Theatre is thrilled to announce their first show of the season: a live reading of Dim Sum Diaries by Mark Leiren-Young (playrite of Shylock), performed at the Pink Pearl Chinese Restaurant (1132 E Hastings) while you are served a full dim sum dinner! There will have special guests, a talkback session and a raffle with terrific prizes! The event is a fundraiser for Fabulist Theatre, with profits going towards the mounting of our spring musical.

Dim Sum Diaries by Mark Leiren-Young presents various perspectives on how Vancouver has changed or is perceived to have changed, as the result of recent immigration from Hong Kong. Thoughts and feelings regarding this topic remain as relevant and controversial now as when the play was first written.

ONE NIGHT ONLY: November 27, 2017
6:00pm doors, dinner & show at 6:30pm

Tickets are $50, which includes the reading, talkback, a set dim sum dinner, tea, gratuity, and a special take-home gift box, as well as processing fees. Tickets must be purchased in advance and will not be available at the door in order to ensure food requirements are met.
