Spirit of India at PNE

    Over 50,000 guests are expected to attend PNE and Playland during Spirit of India weekend of August 26-27 to take in this spectacular display of culture. 
     
     
    Spirit of India (SOI) consists of a full 2-day South Asian cultural celebration with the aim to engage the Indian diaspora in Vancouver and surrounding areas. The event aims to draw in a huge South Asian contingent, and also opens the doors wide open so that the public can share in the rich culture and heritage. 
     
     
    SOI will take-over the entire Festival Park area, which will be nestled between the PNE Coliseum and PNE Forum Marketplace. Featuring South Asian art, dance, music, food, handicrafts, and rangoli, come out with the entire family to Celebrate Culture, Shop the Bazaar, Learn Traditional Folk Dances of India, Participate in Workshops and so much more!
