Witness B.C.’s Most Talented Artists in Action

McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Vancouver Airport18 Aug '18 to 19 Aug '18 @ 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM
With a blank canvas and easel on hand, a select group of BC artists will gather on August 18th and 19th to flaunt their artistry at McArthurGlen Vancouver’s first ever Artists In Action event. In partnership with the popular local painting competition, Grand Prix of Art, artists have been invited to create their pieces en plein air, inspired by the architecture, landscape, planes overhead and shoppers around them.

“We’re excited to host this immersive event with Grand Prix of Art to unite art lovers and support the local art community,” says Ally Day, Marketing Manager of McArthurGlen Vancouver. “From being commissioned to work on the official portrait of the President of the Philippines to having their paintings exhibited all over the world, each artist in attendance has a unique story to tell. With the various techniques and styles, there will be something for everyone, and we are lucky to have them join us.”

The following artists have been hand-selected by the Grand Prix of Art team for their commitment to the community and their craft. Please see below for full schedule:
