• What: This is an industry networking event open to all those interested. It is here that the public is invited to learn more about what makes the brands “who they are”, and the stories associated with breaking through in the market. Everyone is encouraged to come out and meet local designers, artists, and key individuals involved in both local and university fashion. This is the perfect opportunity to network, ask questions, and exchange dialogue with knowledgeable industry professionals in a positive and friendly setting.
DAY 2: DIVERSITY AND SOCIAL ADVOCACY SPEAKERS
•WHEN: Thursday, March 30, 6-8 pm
•WHERE: SFU Burnaby Campus
• What: An evening designed to promote diversity and social awareness.
DAY 3: FASHION SHOW
•WHEN: Friday, March 31, 6:30-9 pm
•WHERE: SFU Surrey
• What: This is the big day, featuring a red carpet event with a backdrop and media invites showcasing prominent designs from the grassroots community of SFU Students. There will be exciting entertainment alongside the runway experience. The most impactful part of this day is the industry integration component where purchasers are able to view student designs to gauge community support.
