Meet Award-Winning Aboriginal Author, Bev Sellars

    Join Bev Sellars on Tuesday, Oct 25, 6:30 - 8 pm at City Centre Library as she shares her story of abuse, endurance and resilience at a residential school in Williams Lake and her insights into the healing and rebuilding of Canada's Aboriginal peoples.
     
    Bev Sellars is former chief of the Xat'sull (Soda Creek) First Nation in Williams Lake, BC. She is also the award-winning author of They called me number one: secrets and survival at an Indian residential school. Bev's new book is Price Paid: The Fight for First Nations Survival.
     
    This author visit is presented in partnership with the Surrey Aboriginal Leadership Committee and the City of Surrey.
