Milestones hosts Grand Opening Party in support of local charity

Milestones Bar and Grill07 Sep '17 @ 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Over 25 years ago, Milestones started it’s first restaurant in Vancouver, BC. Following the successful renovation and re-launch of their Langley location in July, Milestones is about to celebrate another milestone in the brand’s journey by celebrating the renovation of their Southpoint location in South Surrey with its official grand re-opening.

The newly renovated restaurant will also be celebrating their community partnership with the local charity, Semiahmoo House Society.  At the soft open launch, the Southpoint Milestones staff donated all their tips to the non-profit. On September, 7th 2017, the restaurant will host a Grand Opening Party and has once again will be fundraising at the event for the society. At the event, Milestones will be fundraising through a silent auction, prize draws, and 50/50 raffle.  This is not the first time the restaurant has supported the society, as they have been a sponsor of their charity golf tournament as well as their food and wine tasting event for over a decade now.  In the last six years, Milestones restaurants in the lower mainland have raised over $145,000 for over 25 different non-profits in the lower mainland.

Nestled in the heart of South Surrey at the Southpoint Exchange Mall, this Milestone is 5175 square feet and is a corporate restaurant, which personifies the future look and feel of the Milestones brand. If you look around you will see that it is an open design that allows energy to flow throughout. Raw industrial elements mixed with brick work and distressed & unique light fixtures offer a warm inviting, yet casual feel.

This new location will be heavily involved in the community through various outreach, partnership and fundraising programs. The Community Relations Manager will allow the restaurant to connect with local schools, businesses and organizations, and find ways to support community initiatives.
