MIT's Robotic Cheetah Is Awesome

The robotic cheetah — comprised of batteries, motors and gears — has been developed by MIT engineers to replicate the form and movements of an actual cheetah.

Using an algorithm that determines how much force each leg exerts on the ground, the robotic cheetah can run faster than most robots at a speed of 10 mph, and can even jump as high as 33 cm.
