What 20-Year-Old Mark Zuckerberg Said About Facebook In 2005

Video of Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has resurfaced on social media and has gone viral for all the right reasons.

 

The video is from the time when this billion-dollar company was just a start-up, Zuckerberg used to wear gym shorts sipping on beer out of a red mug and his office looked more like a hostel room.

 

“I think Facebook is an online directory for colleges…A lot of people are focused on taking over the world. I really just want to see everyone focused on college,” says the then 20-year-old, who, perhaps, had not thought of the role Facebook will play in the coming years in ‘caring about the world’, and practically dominating half of it.
