What's Life Like Under Islamic State In Raqqa?

Raqqa Is Being Slaughtered Silently (RBSS) and the citizen journalists behind it are the main - and often only - source of information about life in a city controlled by the so-called Islamic State.

They use YouTube, Facebook and other modes of social media to inform the rest of the world about murders, explosions and rape in a town that was once a safe haven during the early days of the Syrian civil war.

The group was awarded the Committee to Protect Journalist's International Press Freedom Award in New York City this month in New York City - and spoke to BBC Trending about their work.
