  • Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan To Reunite For 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya' Sequel?
Actors Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan may reunite for a sequel to the 2014 film "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya".

On Monday, Alia and Varun, who featured together in the film, posted cryptic tweets on their respective Twitter handles with an image where the duo have their backs facing the camera in the midst of what appears to be a field.

The image also has a copy written in bold red colour reading "Are they coming back?".

Varun tweeted: "I hear the first ever love franchise is in the air! Dharma movies, Karan Johar, Alia, is that for real?"

Alia, too, added to the mystery with her tweet saying: "The 'dulhania' is on the move! Is this true though? Dharma movies, Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan."

The official Twitter handle of Dharma Production said: "Ahem. who's your source, Varun Dhawan, the Dulhania, Alia Bhatt? Watch this space and you are in for a surprise! Karan Johar."

Shashank Khaitan, who directed the first movie, is expected to don the director’s hat yet again for the film whose title is rumoured to be “Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya”.
