  • Amitabh Bachchan Keeps B'day Wishes Quite Unique

Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan never fails to acknowledge important days. The actor is not afraid to even ask for a reply to his wishes, even if it's from other big film stars.

Recently, Anushka Sharma celebrated her birthday with husband Virat Kohli. But she forgot to respond to Bachchan's wishes.

In reference to that, the 75-year-old actor tweeted, "@AnushkaSharma .. Anushka .. this is Amitabh Bachchan @Srbachchan .. wished you on May 1st via sms .. no response .. checked they said you changed number .. sent greetings again .. love and wishes .. you looked radiant at the IPL game last night."

Anushka later replied, "Thank you so much Sir, for remembering my birthday and sending your kind wishes! (Responding to your sms as I tweet this)."

These kinds of awkward situations have occurred before during the birthdays of other superstars like Ranveer Singh, Preity Zinta, Sonam Kapoor and Akshay Kumar.

When Ranveer didn't reply to his birthday wish, Bachchan wrote, "hey .. but what about my intention .. sent you sms greetings for your birthday .. did not get a reply .. did you see it .. !??"

A similar situation happened on Sonam Kapoor's birthday as the actor wrote, "and what about ME .. this is Amitabh Bachchan my dear .. i sent you an sms on your birthday and you never replied ..aaarrrgghh !!"

On Preity Zinta's birthday, he tweeted, "T 640 -Preity Zinta ...!! wherever you are, since you have refused to reply to my sms .. Ha ha ..A very happy birthday .. love and happiness."

Bachchan tweeted for Akshay Kumar too as he wrote,"@akshaykumar Yo Akshay !! hey ! I sent you sms greetings for birthday . Did you get it ? Or is your phone jammed ? Love and success always."

Meanwhile, Bachchan is all geared up for his upcoming movie '102 Not Out' with Rishi Kapoor.

Presented and distributed worldwide by Sony Pictures Releasing International, and produced by SPE Films India, Treetop Entertainment and Umesh Shukla's Benchmark Pictures releases on May 4.
