Arijit Singh Makes Chat Show Debut With 'The Kapil Sharma Show'

Darpan News Desk IANS, 09 Sep, 2016 12:55 PM
Popular Bollywood singer Arijit Singh, who usually keeps himself away from the camera, will be seen sharing his life experiences on popular TV show "The Kapil Sharma Show".

"Kapil Sharma considers Arijit as his younger brother and was glad to have him as his guest," said a source from the set.

"When Kapil asked why he stays away from the limelight so much, Arijit clarified that he is extremely busy with his singing assignments and spends his free time in his hometown Murshidabad, West Bengal. However, he admitted that he is a huge fan of Kapil and therefore did not want to miss this opportunity to appear on his show," the source added.

Arijit came into the limelight after appearing as a contestant on TV show "Fame Gurukul" in 2005. He is best known for singing popular songs like "Tum hi ho", "Phir mohabbat", "Dilliwaali girlfriend" and "Tose naina" among others.

"The Kapil Sharma Show" is aired on Sony Entertainment Television. The episode featuring Arijit will be shown on Sunday.
