Beyonce Is Pregnant With Twins

    Singer-songwriter Beyonce Knowles announced that she is expecting twins, media reports said.
     
    The "Single Ladies" hitmaker announced the news in an Instagram post on on Wednesday with a picture showing her cradling a baby bump, the Guardian reported. 
     
    The post read: "We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes - The Carters."
     
    The Instagram announcement had more than 1.5m "likes" within 35 minutes of publishing.
     
     
     
    Beyoncé, 35, has a five-year-old daughter named Blue Ivy with husband rapper Jay Z. She revealed her pregnancy with Blue Ivy on the red carpet at the MTV music awards in 2011, after finishing her performance.

    Singer Beyonce Knowles has left behind singer Selena Gomez on Instagram by making a record-setting post announcing that shes pregnant with twins.
     
    Knowles's surprise news, accompanied by a photograph of herself wearing lingerie and clutching her belly, received 6.33 million likes in less than eight hours after she posted it on Instagram on Wednesday, reports variety.com.
     
    The post also has over 334,000 comments. That beats the previous record holder Selena Gomez, whose Instagram sponsored post of herself sipping a Coke last June garnered 6.3 million likes.
     
    Within one hour of Beyonce's post going live, it had 2.43 million likes and 166,000 comments. 
     
    "We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over," Beyonce wrote in her Instagram post.
     
    Knowles and her husband Jay Z also have a 5-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy.
