Bigg Boss 12: Anup Jalota Now Wants To Perform Jasleen Matharu's Kanyadaan

Darpan News Desk IANS, 31 Oct, 2018 04:34 PM
Bigg Boss 12’s vichitra jodi Anup Jalota and Jasleen Matharu have been making headlines from the time they entered the house.

On the premiere night, the 65-year-old devotional singer and the 28-year-old singer confessed to dating secretly for more than three years. While they did not show visible signs of being lovers during their stay in the house, they did share a cute chemistry. But post his exit from the show, Anup has a completely different story to tell.

The bhajan maestro has denied any kind of romantic relationship with Jasleen. Calling their relationship only a ‘musical’ one, Anup shared that Jasleen lied about dating him in front of host Salman Khan. He also said that once she is out of the house, they would have a clearer picture as to why she made such a confession.

On Tuesday, Anup Jalota held a press conference along with Jasleen Matharu’s father Kesar Matharu. There, he told journalists that he only shares a teacher-student relationship with Jasleen. He said, “Jasleen told me that she has been offered Bigg Boss.

And since she will have to enter the show as a vichitra jodi, she asked me to come along. She also asked her father to convince me. Although I was skeptical, I decided to go ahead as a guru-shishya jodi. We are vichitra, as I am quite old-school while Jasleen is today’s modern girl. So, I thought that would suffice.”

“A week before the launch, she was kept in house arrest by the Bigg Boss team. We met only on the stage in front of Salman Khan on the premiere night. And there, she said that we are in a relationship. I was completely taken aback.

Even our families were shocked outside. But I decided to play along as I didn’t want to confront Jasleen on national television. I thought that we will talk about it after the game. This is why I called a press conference today, to clarify my stand, and tell the truth to the world,” added the singer.

Concluding the conversation, Anup made a rather shocking statement, “I have told Kesar that please invite me to Jasleen’s wedding. We will do her kanyadaan together. And I am happy that he has agreed.”
